Intergroup Service Committee

Intergroup is our local AA service office, established and supported by District 5 AA groups and members, helps carry the AA message within our district; it is a partnership of AA groups just as an AA group is a partnership of individuals.

Intergroup maintains the 24-Hour Hotline (941-426-7723) which makes A.A. available to anyone in the community who may have a problem with alcohol. Intergroup service office relies on AA group members for Twelfth-Step service work. Service at an Intergroup office usually consists of answering the Intergroup's phones, arranging AA member Twelfth-Step contacts for newcomers, helping callers to get to meetings and organizing and distributing literature.  Book Store hours are 9AM to 6PM, Monday throgh Friday.

The meetings are held the third Thursday of each month at 7:00PM.  Intergroup Representatives, Alternates and other interested AA's are invited to attend.
